  Are you still considered an outcast because of your JW past?

  even though i no longer proclaim being a jw it seems to have tarnished my relationship with others, including family and even co-workers.

  Someone in my family died this week - I am not doing well

  I am starting a new video series: Ex-Gilead Missionary

  i have been debating on how best to get the word out about jws and the wts... i have thought about blogs... but i just can't get myself to create the blog... and my youtube videos that i colaborated on with v have been successful on youtube... i have received many comments, and some inquiries from active jws based on the video.

  .

  i have created an introductory video that will give some background and you can see my style... i am also looking for constructive feedback... at the moment i am using windows movie maker, so the graphics are pretty cruddy, i apologize... if you know of a cheap or free movie editor that would be great.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtdmkgfxml4.

  my df bro in law tells friends his family is all dead..instead of jw

  he is the oldest of five kids...all dubs...he was kicked out at 16...and shunned badly for 35 years or so by his family, but never me btw...and he still is.

  so he was smart enough to move out of state and start over....and has had a great life....but 20 years ago he told me something i have never forgotten...he said that as he made new friends and tried to explain this totally flucked up shunning thing...that it always went kinda odd....so he just started telling everyone his entire family was dead....i never forgot the moment he said that......................oompa.

  Better to be thought of as an orphan that related to JWs I guess. Technically he is a "Spiritual Orphan". Or you could say it is better to walk alone than in bad company.

  Reminds me of a machine trades instructor and his aide.

  A light would not go off on the CNC machine and the aide asked the instructor, "Hey Paul, why in a fluck won't this fluckin' light fluckin' go off?"

  The instructor responed like this, "Why in a fluck, didn't the fluckin' flucker's fluckin' flucker fluck the fluckin' flucker's fluckin' flucker, you fluckin' flucker?" real fast too. He about killed everyone by making them laugh so hard. The aide quit cussing so much after he realized how he sounded.

  When my mom worked at a nursing home as a cook back int he 1980s, she overheard a man who was senile cuss up a storm every day. One thing that he said that still makes me laugh when I reemember it is this, "She's not taking care of her resposibities. The sonofabitc*!!"

  Sure, it reminds me of the old testament switching over to the new covenant. JWD becomes JWN and we have the vengeful old website off our backs and we land into the lap of the kinder and more loving son of website.....
